Playlist for the Week of 12/9/13: Best Of 2013, Part 1.

December is here and you’ve no doubt noticed the inundation of year-end lists.  Rolling Stone named Vampire Weekend album of the year, Paste called for Phosphorescent.  And on and on.  Well, we’re here to best the lot of them.  We’re not going to just give a list, we’re going to take the entire month to sift through our favorites. Now that’s inundation!

This serves as part one and not only features the biggest of the big from the first three months of 2013, but also a few choice interviews from that time (which is why a two year old song from Alabama Shakes is also on this show). We hoped you’ve enjoyed the year of music as much as we have. Now dig in!
