The new album, Restless, is already garnering attention from press and fans alike. AbsolutePunk.net dubbed the title track ‘Young & Restless’ “a jangly should-be chart-topper that screams platinum from the opening seconds” and the disc as a whole “a triumph and a startling step forward from a band that won’t be under the radar for long.” Similarly, Alternative Addiction stated “for an album that’s being truly released independently from a band that’s never really been on a label, these are the best songs I’ve heard in a long time.” Fans are clamoring to help spread the word with free sampler discs the band gives out to share with friends.

The Gallery’s previous release, 2011′s “Come Alive EP,” earned them nation-wide college radio airplay, landing them on the CMJ charts, as well as earning a Top 40 radio add for “Catalyst” in Ithaca, NY. “Come Alive” also received great press, including the band’s selection as one of just sixteen unsigned North American artists to compete in Rolling Stone’s 2011 “Do You Wanna Be a Rock & Roll Star” contest to choose the cover of the magazine.

Additionally The Gallery was chosen to participate in the 2011 Florida GRAMMY Showcase, and selected as finalists in the International Songwriting Competition two years in a row. In early 2012, the band won the “D’Addario Play Your Way to Austin” contest, earning them a SXSW showcase, as well as string and drumhead endorsements. The band loves sharing their music with fans at live shows, and has toured to more than 30 different states.

The Gallery’s hook-laden rock songs combine a mix of mainstream appeal and professionalism with indie cred and likability. Rolling Stone described their sound as “big shout-along choruses and bluesy guitar breakdowns” while Alternative Press Magazine compared them to Tom Petty.
