Playlist for the Week of 7/21/14: Interview Guest is Kaiser Chiefs and Mick Foley plays Guest DJ.

Kaiser Chiefs

We were able to let our hair down this week with a nice batch of fun songs from Cold War Kids, Sloan, Half Japanese (they’re back!), and The Lemons. Even Mark Lanegan has some fun, even if it is a song called Sad Lover. Landlady gives a completely different reading of Sylvan Esso’s Hey Mami, and Anna Calvi teams up with David Byrne.

Ricky & Simon from Kaiser Chiefs are in the interview seat and Sean Cannon pairs up with wrestling legend Mick Foley to guest DJ.

Dig in.
