Ex-Korn Axeman: I Chose God Over the Band: Ex-Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch says he left the group in 2005 at God's behest, despite his bandmates' inducements to stay. "They offered me I could stay in the band and not have to tour," the born-again rocker explains. "But then one day I just felt like the Lord said, 'Leave everything, follow me.'" Welch reportedly will release his second book, Washed by Blood: Lessons From My Time With Korn and My Journey to Christ, on June 24.
